We believe real innovation happens when you solve real-world problems.
In 2016. after vears of working together in healthcare technoloav. Mrinal Bhasker and David Finnev found themselves at a crossroads. Mrinal had just sold his company. and David had returned from the Peace Corps in Africa. Both were consulting at CRISP. Marvland's healthinformation exchange, when they started asking themselves:
- What kind of company would we want to build? - What problems would we want to tackle? - And how could we do it in a way that felt meaningful?
Their answer wasn't just another tech startup—it was an innovation engine, one that would stay grounded in the needs of real people. Instead of chasing venture capital and building in a vacuum, they would work directly with healthcare organizations, using their toughest challenges as inspiration for new solutions.
